is group is aimed at teenagers from about school years 8 to year 13, although mainly post confirmation.
We meet fortnightly on a Thursday in meeting room 1 from 7.15-8.30pm, and look at what it means to be a young Christian today; so we look at the Bible, have very heated debates and discussions, interactive activities, drama and contemporary Christian music, pray together and generally chat a lot about Christian issues.
We welcome people to bring their friends along, and refreshments are provided.
Every so often we have a 'social' which involves meeting up away from the church, for example going bowling.

Youth Development Team Linda du Preez and Judith Motto (Youth Club) Tessa Standen & Nina Noss (Revelation) and Father Victor have put a great deal of time, thought and prayer into how we can ensure that young people feel that they belong in our parish. They are keen to begin a Youth Development Team and would welcome expressions of interest from anyone who would like to be involved. There will be a Mass (6pm) for young people from year six to eight (youth club) in the parish centre once per month and another Mass (on an alternative Saturday) for young people from year 8 (revelation group) onwards. The Mass will be prepared by members of the youth development team and led by Father Victor. Parents are asked not to attend Mass. However, it will be timed so that they can attend the normal 6pm Mass in church.
