There are going to be two major events for which we have been allocated tickets. The first will be the Vigil at Hyde Park on Saturday 18th September for which we have 79 tickets; and 27 tickets for the Beatification of John Henry Newman on Sunday 19th September in Crofton Park, Birmingham.
The suggested donation for Hyde Park, including pilgrims’ pack and travel card, is £10, whereas Birmingham is £25 which includes a pilgrims’ pack and coach fee. You may attend both events if you wish.
Please enter your name and telephone number on the appropriate clipboard in the porch by Thursday 29th July.
Hyde Park will open in the late morning and the vigil will end around 9pm;
Crofton Park will be open from about 3am on the morning of the Mass so that everyone is in place by around 8.30am. The co-ordinators for these events are Ken Chan and Lizzie Avey.
In due course, we will give you details of the events which will be happening in our parish as part and parcel of the Pope’s visit.Charlon Muscat As we are all aware, Charlon will be returning to Malta this week after his three month stay with us at Holy Innocents’. To thank him for the many blessings he has given us, a book will be left in the porch this weekend for all those parishioners who wish to write him a message. Taize Cross Fr. Victor would like to thank Roger Fane for taking the initiative to make this cross. Heartfelt thanks go to David MacLaurin for the carpentry and Charlon Muscat for the artwork. This cross will be blessed at the 10am Mass this Sunday.

Revelation Art Project: Revelation would like to make a large canvas and they need the help of everyone in the Parish. Can every family and friendship group please make a heart or heart frame containing your photograph? Photographs must be no bigger than 8x8cm. Please hand it in to the office on the first weekend in September. You must wait until the finished product to see the outcome!

Faith Hope and Charity across the Alps. Three of Jean Treloar's grandchildren are cycling 1200 miles from Sidcup on

The Association was founded in 1908 and celebrated its Centenary in 2008. We have 10,000 members in over 300 Circles. There are several Circles in your area. These being: Blackheath, Swanley, Beckenham, Bromley and Chislehurst & Orpington Circles; they hold monthly meetings on various dates throughout the month and on differing days of the week to ensure that potential new members have the opportunity to attend one of our Circle meetings .
The Association have a Bursary fund to help young Catholics, aged between 16 and 24, to take part in community-based projects at home or abroad. This Fund fulfils one of the Association’s core aims: “To advance the interest of young Catholics and to assist them in their choice or pursuit of their career.”

A new charitable trust requires volunteer musicians over grade 5 to take part in a concert in Orpington and Bromley on 24/25 September and 1/2 October.
