Baptism for Infants

Welcome and Congratulations!

We at Holy Innocents' want to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the birth of your child. We welcome you and your child to Baptism - the first Sacrament in your child's life.

The Sacrament of Baptism is a time to celebrate your child's life and the life that Jesus gives your child in the Sacrament. His life, which He gave for us on the Cross, is passed on to your child in Baptism. Your child receives a life that never ends!

Infant Baptisms are normally celebrated on Sunday afternoons. However, it is necessary to make an appointment with Deacon Barry Chalkley and receive instruction before a date is fixed. Preparation for this Sacrament takes place after the 10am Mass on the first and second Sundays of each month.

Your child is welcomed into the Community of God's people and initiation into the life of the Church is worth celebrating!
